  • Individuals

    Before coming to see me, high achieving perfectionist clients feel so anxious that it keeps them up at night. Their heart sinks when their partner is not home on time with racing thoughts about car accidents. Not knowing where they are going is enough to keep them from leaving the house. They are often filled with a sense of dread. They have a pit in their stomach and tightness in their chest. They worry that they are not doing enough or that they are failing at work or school. They feel overwhelmed and even panicked. They worry about the mistakes they will make. They feel like there is a spotlight on them and worry that people are judging them. They wonder what they will have to talk about at the upcoming party, what if there are people they don’t know there? They avoid spending time with friends because they worry about saying or doing the wrong thing.

  • Couples

    Before coming to see me, couples are feeling tired of having the same conflicts again and again.

    They feel lost and as though they are at an impasse. They feel the trust is broken and totally disconnected. They don’t know how to fix things. They feel angry, they do not feel listened to, and they feel resentful.

  • Autism, Intellectual Disabilities and Neurodivergence

    Before coming to see me, clients are frustrated that they have not been able to find a therapeutic service that will adapt to their needs.

    Their neurodivergence/disability is being noted but their other mental health needs and life concerns are being overlooked.

    They would like to try individual psychotherapy but have had a hard time finding the right fit.

    Individual Therapy

    We will start by getting a clear understanding of what you are struggling with, how these struggles relate to each other and how they impact you. From there, we will set goals and develop a plan for therapy.

    I work from a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy approach, while keeping mindfulness and trauma informed practices in mind.

    Couples Therapy

    We will start by getting a clear understanding of how you and your partner relate to eachother, the patterns that have developed between you, and what is important to you both individually and as a couple. We will then look to de-escalate the cycle you are in and look to build trust and safety to create connection.

    I work from an Emotion Focused Couples Therapy approach.

    Autism, Intellectual Disabilities and Neurodiversity

    We will start by getting a clear understanding of what you are struggling with, how these struggles relate to each other and how they are impacting you. From there, we will set goals and develop a plan for therapy.

    I work from a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy approach and will adapt this therapy to your needs as required while integrating skills development. I am open to collaborating with the supports you may have in your life when beneficial to your progress.
